Arbo is a locality of the D.O. Rías Baixas, so its wines are mainly white and are made from the albariño grape. Albariño wines from the area are characterised by being fresh, fruity, with good acidity and medium body. They are wines that pair very well with seafood, fish and rice dishes. They can also be paired with white meat dishes or mild cheeses.
In addition to Albariño, Arbo also produces red wines, mainly from the Mencía grape. These wines are lighter than red wines from other areas of Spain and are characterised by their freshness and aromas of red fruits and flowers.
As for food and wine pairings, Arbo red wines usually go well with red meats, stews and cured cheeses.
